Hey Y'all,
Yesterday when I was checking out some of my favorite blogs and Pinterest I stumbled across Southern Wedding's newest adventure, The Sweet Tea Society. I am a huge fan of Southern Wedding's Magazine and their beautiful website and I might be a little biased since it is based out of Chapel Hill, my former college home but head on over to their website and I am sure that you will agree that they host some beautiful southern affairs. The premise behind the society is while we all love a wedding but to focus on the relationship and marriage behind the wedding. While I am not currently in a relationship I do have many friends in long term relationships, some engaged and even some already married.Although I have a pinterest board for my future wedding I have my parent's marriage (over 30 years strong WOOHOO!) as the ultimate example for life after that one day. As a hopeless romantic I will of course wait for the perfect guy not just to experience the wedding day so I might have to wait a few more years but it will all be ok since I would rather have a long and fulfilling relationship and marriage than focus only on the wedding day so I of course signed up to be a member of The Sweet Tea Society. Will you sign up?

I've seen this all over Pinterest recently and I can't tell you how much I love it. The whole idea behind it is lovely, and is a nice break from the item based wedding board I love pining myself. It really gets back to the whole premise of a wedding being based on relationships not registries. Allllso I have nominated you for the Liebster award on my blog. Have a great weekend!
