Everyday I'm Trufflen'

Hey y'all,

As promised here is the very easy recipe to create Oreo Truffles! I hope you are ready to read this and make it for lots of potlucks and no one will ever know that it was so easy to make.

You will need:
1 package of Oreo (regular stuffed)
1 8oz package of cream cheese
1 package of chocolate Candy Quick(sometimes called almond bark)

Take out 7 Oreos from the package and eat them (it's an important step)
Crush the rest of the Oreos up finely.
Take the package of cream cheese at room temperature
Add the Oreos to the cream cheese. Smash the cream cheese into the Oreos with the back of a spoon.
Cover the mixture with a plate and refrigerate for 2 hours.

After two hours roll the mixture into quarter sized balls and place them on a cookie sheet. Freeze the balls (about 60 of them) for another two hours.

Microwave or melt over a double broiler the almond bark/candy quick (1 minute for 4 squares in the microwave) melted at 30 second intervals and stir.

Dip the Oreo balls into chocolate, place on wax paper. Drizzle them with some white chocolate melted for a more professional look or if you don't want to it is fine with just the chocolate coating.

Leave at room temperature to set. Then I put them back in the fridge since I love cold chocolate.

I told you it was simple! Everyone who loves chocolate will beg you for this recipe.

Enjoy.

Peace and Blessings,
jDl
